Milla my beautiful Great Niece

My beautiful Niece Margaret had a baby girl of her own last year and since I haven't posted for a while I thought I would start with her. This is Milla Grace :) Isn't she just adorable! This LO was done for a challenge over at Aussie Girls Gone Scrappin' and I have used all of the new Kaiser range. So easy to use because everything coordinates, makes a quick page very easy to do!

Me at 3

Well I haven't been here for a while, that's a combination of me being incredibly lazy and incredibly busy!

I thought I would share one of my favourite pages with you.

This is me aged 3 at our favourite swimming spot Pebbly Beach. Its not actually even a beach it was a river lol. As usual I have used loads of flowers and bling. All of these are from my2angels :) Where else!

NEW DISCOVERY!!!

Sorry everyone I haven't been here for a while! I have been sick then had sick children. So I decided to take off to Devonport for the weekend with the family :) We had a great weekend with the Inlaws Brenda and Rob. Love them to pieces!!!
Brenda and I detoured on Sunday to do some shopping on our way back to the house for lunch. The plan was to go to chickenfeed ($2 shop) for quilling supplies for the girls. We picked those up and were wandering around and I spotted some of the non slip mat stuff. They had it in purple, black, cream, blue... don't no what else. Brenda and I looked at each other and started grabbing rolls lol! It looks like square mesh but is a bit puffier and cheap as anything! Next to that Brenda spotted some funky woven placemats made out of plastic so we grabbed one of those each too. It just goes to show you that you can find scrapbooking goodies in the strangest of places!! I would upload some pics here to show you but when we left to come home this afternoon Rob asked me if I had my bag of scrap goodies and I said of course I do!!!! When I got home and unpacked the car I discovered that I didn't have it at all :( It's still in Devonport!!

My example for Amandas first challenge

This is my example of Amanda's challenge over at Aussie Girls Gone Scrappin It is the first challenge for then and if it's anything to go buy it will be a terrific place!

The criteria were to use the quote " Laugh as much as you breathe and love as long as you live" also use ribbon, chipboard and a metal embellishment.

Close up of the chipboard flowers. I have coloured them with Zig metallic pens and then dimensional magic. The rhinestones are a scroll from My2Angels cut up and new Prima E line pearls and rhinestones in the centre of the flowers.

If you get the chance ladies hop on over to Aussie Girls Gone Scrappin and have a look. Lots of challenges starting on the 20th of every month and swaps and lovely ladies to chat to!

Night all I am off to bed. Daylight savings has messed with my body clock enough for one day :)

Summer Splash

This is my entry for Artastic's challenge this month. My partner says its a very loose interpretation of Van Gough's work but what would he know, he is male!

I took inspiration from the swirls and circles and the texture of the paint looks like stitching.

Super Busy Weekend!

Well we are all scrapping our little hearts out this weekend. So many challenges up to do. And of course the new ones coming up Mid month at Aussie Girls Gone Scrappin'

I thought I would share with you some pages of my son. I'm not very good at boy pages, I can never think of what to embellish them with. Girls pages are so easy with flowers, ribbon and rhinestones, poor boys are a bit limited with what embellishments we can use I think!

This is a double page LO of Josh playing football this year. I was so proud of him, he is 15 and plays football on the senior men's reserve team. He won best player on the field two weeks in a row and most improved player the following week. I get very scared sometimes when I watch him play, some of these guys are HUGE compared to him. The only time he has had a bad injury tho was an away game and I wasn't there. He was carried off the field on a strecher after being mistaken for a ball and kicked full on in the ribs/kidneys then trod on. :( My poor baby. He loves it tho and wouldn't stop playing no matter how many times he was kicked or trampled.

This is Josh at around age 3. We had a pool in the back yard and he learned to swim before he was 1! He is part fish I am convinced of it! He got the goggles and snorkel and flippers for his birthday and he loved them so much. He would cry and have a mini tantrum if I told him he couldn't wear them to the shop or to take them off at the dinner table. He would wear them in the bath and one night when I went in to check on him and tuck him in before I went to bed he was actually sleeping with them on lol. I love the bright colours on this LO, I don't usually use bright colours. I do tend towards more girly lO's tho.
